Tesla-Powered Swapped Toyota Supra

Ryan wanted his MK4 Toyota Supra to really stand out, so what better way than to electrify it? For this job, he contacted California-based Stealth EV to purchase a full Tesla P100D rear subframe that includes the motor, axles, suspension arms and brakes. This means that the Supra’s suspension needed some major work, while a 90kWh pack sourced from a Tesla Model S was installed under the hood.

Yes, some of the battery cells also had to be moved over to the trunk for optimal weight distribution. Unfortunately, it’s still a work in progress, but on the bright side, the Supra does now run with the new Tesla drivetrain. Tesla axles, suspension arms and brakes were also installed successfully on the Supra. The reason things are taking longer than planned is because Ryan also has several other projects in the works, including an LS3 V8-swapped 1994 Mazda RX-7 and a 1999 R34 Nissan Skyline GT-R sporting a custom turbocharger setup.
