H/t: Car Scoops
The legendary Honda S2000 is a roadster that was manufactured from 1999 to 2009, with the production version launching on April 15, 1999 to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary. There are two generations: the initial launch model was given the chassis code AP1 and then a facelifted version, known as the AP2 in North America and Japan. Read more for a video showing what a third-generation Honda S2000 should look like.
Automotive designer The Sketch Monkey decided to keep the original body and add some modern touches for this updated model, including a revamped front end, complete with slim LED headlights. Unfortunately, the original naturally-aspirated engine will most likely be replaced with a hybrid or all-electric setup, but hopefully, the 6-speed manual transmission remains.
