At first glance, this looks like a Nintendo Switch, but it’s actually Jackson Snowden’s Wii SP. This portable Nintendo Wii features infrared LEDs for a sensor bar, 3DS-sourced joysticks, DS Lite buttons, and a full size USB port. That’s not all, there’s also three controllers built in: an original Classic controller, an original GameCube controller and a PIC microcontroller to convert inputs from the 3DS joysticks.
Now the only issue I have with these custom-built handheld consoles is that they require either a massive battery or an external power bank to run for a decent amount of time. Bringing this with you on a long haul international flight is probably out of the question, as you’ll need a power bank that probably won’t be able to pass through TSA without being confiscated.
