Japan-based Tone Mobile just launched its latest smartphone, the e20, which uses artificial intelligence in an unusual way to say the least. Simply put, it uses a special algorithm to prevent users from taking drunken / inappropriate photos of themselves or anyone else, while also being able to ‘connect’ with other devices and notify their owner if such a shot has been snapped. Unfortunately, this feature only works if the photos are captured via the native camera app. Other features include a 6.2-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a triple rear camera setup (13MP + 12MP + 2MP), and an 8-megapixel front-facing selfie camera, all for around $178. Even if you’re still interested, you’ll have to head on over to Japan, or at least find a reseller willing to ship worldwide.
