BMW’s E30 M3 made its North American debut in 1988 and it was definitely fast for its time. One E30 M3 owner decided it was time for an upgrade, so they swapped in a Toyota Supra Mk4 2JZ engine and then added a massive turbocharger that boosted its output to a staggering 1300hp, mated to a sequential transmission sending power to the rear wheels.
Now you can’t be driving around in a 1300hp BMW E30 M3 on a factory suspension, as this one now has Ohlins dampers, along with Sparco bucket seats hooked up to four-point harnesses to keep you safe at the track, especially the Nurburgring. In case of disaster, there’s also a full roll cage to protect its occupants. If you need something even faster, there’s this 2000HP Toyota Supra Mk4.
