Giulio Zompetti is a collector of all things Apple Inc., and he recently came across a couple of extremely rare prototypes. More specifically, transparent Apple AirPods and a 29W charger that came bundled with an older generation MacBook Air (2018). Unfortunately, no other information was provided, but he does have quite the collection, including an Apple Watch prototype and a functional AirPower charging pad. Read more for additional pictures and information.
How do these prototypes leak out? Well, they are designed specifically for its employees to test and are destroyed after this phase is completed, but some of them manage to make their way to the public. Some of these prototypes look nothing like the production units and normally fetch exorbitant amounts on third party auction sites, like eBay.
