Xiaomi has officially unveiled the Mi Watch, and just like the Apple Watch, this square-shaped device comes equipped with a digital crown and a button. Other features include an always-on 1.78-inch AMOLED display (326 ppi), 570mAh battery good for 36 hours of use, a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and eSIM support for 4G connectivity, all running MIUI for Watch. The Mi Watch can be used for sleep tracking, exercise performance, and as a heart rate monitor. As for apps, forty popular Chinese apps, like TikTok and QQ Messenger, will be ready to download on release day, while the XiaoAI virtual assistant handles voice commands.
Available on November 11th, the base model will cost just $185 USD, but unfortunately, will not be sold outside of China for the time being. Later on, there will be a higher-end model with a stainless steel case and metal strap released for $290 USD.
