You’ve seen the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra BMW M Edition, now check out automotive designer Wookjun Kwon’s BMW Out of Three Boxes concept. What sets this vehicle apart from all the other EVs on the market are the four separate compartments for each passenger.
This fully autonomous EV has two front seats that face forward, while the other two in the rear are in a reverse configuration, where passengers can look out the rear windshield. Kwon did not reveal what kind of electric powertrain it might have nor the battery size, but we imagine that it would be comparable to the BMW i7, which has dual electric motors making 650 hp and 749 lb-ft of torque.

The biggest feature of the sedan is that the cabin space is very private. These days a [sedan’s seats] are forward-looking, so there is [different levels of] privateness. On the other hand, in self-driving cars, I thought each passenger’s view could be respected and equal privacy could be provided,” said Kwon.
