An 18-year-old from Haryana’s Yamunanagar in India was given a BMW for his birthday instead of the Jaguar he requested. So, he did the least logical thing possible…pushed it into a swollen river in a fit of anger. That’s not all, “when the youth was plunging the high-end BMW car into the river, he also made a video and put it on social media,” said a police official. Fortunately, the car later got stuck on a tall patch of grass in the middle of the river. Unfortunately, the car is now a total loss, as the interior and engine both suffered water damage. In India, used BMW vehicles cost around 3.5m rupees ($49,000) locally, while Jaguars will set one back approximately 4-5m rupees ($56,000).
