Aptera Solar-Electric Vehicle First Test Production
A GoSun solar EV charger is great to keep things charged, but the Aptera solar-electric vehicle only requires sunlight, and it just completed its first production-intent drive test. This prototype has been engineered to rigorously test Aptera’s production-intent design, production components, and critical performance metrics such as range, solar charging capability, as well as efficiency.

What’s next? Integration of the company’s solar technology, production-intent thermal management system, and exterior surfaces. Once installed, the production-intent vehicle will undergo high-speed track testing to validate its general performance characteristics and confirm core efficiency figures, such as watt-hours per mile, solar charging rates, as well as estimated battery range.
