Baidu-backed JiYu unveils the Robo X electric supercar that can accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than 1.9-seconds, which makes it slightly slower than the Rimac Nevera. Exact power numbers have not yet been revealed, but we know that power comes from quad electric motors, paired with a liquid-cooled drive system.
The design was inspired by fighter jets, with a touch of Formula 1. Featuring sleek carbon fiber integrated frame, futuristic falcon-wing doors, and a HALO safety system offering 360° of support, just like F1 cars. It’s also one of the first (if not the first) electric supercars to make use of pure-vision ADAS technology, enabling track-level autonomous driving. One caveat: mass production is not expected to commence until 2027.
