H/t: Car Scoops
There are auto enthusiasts transforming the Nissan R32 Skyline into a Chevrolet Camaro, and then this one who turned a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 Duramax dually into ‘Razorbak’. This vehicle, with 145,000-miles on the odometer and clean title, had its cab as well as bed removed before a steel subframe was built onto the existing body mount points.
The seller claims it can be used as a movie / prop vehicle or as a SEMA show car later this year, and rightfully so. Its custom frame was made using heavy wall 2×8″ tubing, 2×2 and 3×3 square tubing, while the panels were sculpted out of 1/8″ sheet steel. Every piece of glass you see has been hand cut and is 1/2″ shatter resistant. Power comes from a modified 6.6L Duramax LBZ V8 Duramax turbo diesel engine making more than 360 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque, mated to an Allison 1000 6-speed automatic transmission. Step inside, and there’s a 3-man bench out back with two buckets seats up front. Interested? You can buy it now for $62,000 USD. More information here.
