That’s exactly what “Beyond the Press” wanted to try with their latest experiment. In traditional usage, a single power LED produces as much light output as an incandescent lamp using several times as much power. This means that in general lighting applications, multiple LEDs are used, thus forming a lamp to improve cost, light distribution, heat dissipation and possibly also color-rendering characteristics.
