Genesis GV60 vs Tesla Model Y BMw iX Ford Mach-E GT Drag Racing
The all-electric Genesis GV60 arrived in the US during May, complete with Face Connect and a Crystal Sphere, but how does it stack up against other EVs? Hagerty wanted to find out, so they pit it against the Tesla Model Y, BMW iX, Ford Mach-E GT, and then a bonus C7 Corvette for comparison purposes.

As for for speed, the Genesis GV60 Performance AWD boasts a 234kW Dual Motor setup generating 483 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque in boost mode. The BMW iX has 516 hp and 564 lb-ft of torque, while the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition produces 480 hp and 634 lb-ft of torque, making them both worthy competitors. Now the Tesla Model Y Performance makes 450 hp and 471 lb-ft of torque, which means it’s the most evenly matched. However, if EVs just aren’t your thing, there’s always the Ford Mach-Eau fragrance, which was designed specifically for petrol fans.
