GM Defense unveiled its Halo Warthog-like Electric Military Concept Vehicle (eMCV), and it’s based on the GMC Hummer EV Pickup. This vehicle uses GM’s Ultium Platform, which provides power, range and scale beyond any previous GM hybrid or extended range EV technology, allowing the six-passenger eMCV to operate near silently.
Silent Watch and Silent Drive technologies enhance its capabilities with low acoustis as well as thermal signatures, while still offering substantial exportable power for mission critical equipment. Other upgrades include FOX performance shocks, 37-inch tires, heavy duty brakes, and an on-board 12 kW diesel-powered generator, which can provide 300-miles of electric range in emergency situations.
