Google Pixel 10a Leak Render

Renders of the Google Pixel 10a have leaked and they show a phone that’s familiar in ways both good and bad. Leaks reveal a device that’s sticking to the 9a’s blueprint. This midranger is expected to launch in early 2026 and measures 153.9 x 72.9 x 9mm – slightly shorter and narrower than the 9a but a bit thicker. That extra thickness suggests room for a bigger battery but the overall shape is the same flat-edged design with a plastic rear panel that sits flush against the camera housing.

Details are slowly emerging but the images show a clear continuity. A dual-camera setup is on the back in an oval module without the protruding bar found on higher end Pixels. Front and center is a 6.2-inch OLED screen at 120Hz, down from the 9a’s 6.3 inches, with full HD resolution and adaptive refresh rates from 60 to 120Hz. Bezels frame the display and the side buttons are in Google’s weird order: power key above the volume rocker. Antenna bands run along the edges and the microphone ports are top and bottom with the bottom one balanced by a speaker grille for even sound distribution.

Under the hood is a purported Tensor G4 chipset, the same as in the 9a, though reports claim Google may increase the clock speed slightly. There is no Tensor G5 here; that is saved for the more costly Pixel 10 series to keep expenses down. With 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB, daily tasks should run smoothly as normal. Charging is 23 watts wired and 7.5 watts wireless, and the $499 beginning price is the same as the previous year’s model.Cameras are the same, with a 48-megapixel primary sensor on the rear and a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens with a 120-degree field of view. Another 13-megapixel selfie camera is located up front. These are the same components as the 9a, with identical apertures and sensor sizes, therefore the computational photography that distinguishes Pixels remains intact. The battery capacity is at least 5,100mAh, the same as the 9a, which has all-day endurance, and the increased thickness may push it higher without any fuss.

Google now extends the seven-year software support pledge to its whole lineup, ensuring that upgrades continue long after competitors have moved on. The colors are yet unknown, however the renders indicate a deep blue comparable to the Pixel 10 series, which is intriguing if unverified.

Google Pixel 10a Leak Render
Launch timing points to spring 2026 which aligns with the Pixel 9a’s March announcement and April release, a schedule that dodged manufacturing snags this year after the A-series models were released in May. A rumor floated an end of 2025 release but that clashes with holiday crowds and new chip debuts from Qualcomm and MediaTek. Google has been flexible with their calendar lately from software rollouts to hardware drops so there’s still some wiggle room.
