HondaJet 2600 Concept First Light Jet Nonstop US
Honda Aircraft Company unveiled the HondaJet 2600 Concept at the 2021 NBAA Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Las Vegas, and it’s the world’s first light jet capable of nonstop transcontinental flights in the United States. The aircraft is 40% longer and wider compared to its predecessor, capable of carrying a maximum of 10 passengers, which is 4 more than the original model can transport.

In order to achieve the extended range of 2,625 nautical miles, Honda Aircraft needed a 20% improvement in fuel efficiency over other jets in the same class, while its larger modular cabin enables for more flexibility in the seat layout. It cruises at 450 knots and has a 47,000-foot ceiling, designed to accommodate single-pilot operation, with an advanced cockpit that incorporates autothrottle, autobrake, as well as other automated systems.
