2020 Lucid Air Production
First introduced way back in 2016, the all-electric Lucid Air is finally headed to production this year and will be officially unveiled at the New York Auto Show on April 8th. The prototype is powered by two electric motors that produce a combined 1,000 hp, paired with either a 100 kWh or 130 kWh battery pack, priced starting from $100,000. If you choose the 130 kWh battery pack, the vehicle will have an estimated driving range of 400-miles, while both offer 0-60 mph acceleration in under 2.5-seconds as well as a 200+ mph top speed. Anyone interested in this vehicle can place a $1,000 deposit to secure their place in line, otherwise you’ll have to wait until 2021 to get behind the wheel of one.
