New Apple Powerbeats Officially Revealed, Here’s a Hands-On Look

Set to hit stores on March 18th, priced at $149, the new Apple Powerbeats follows up on its predcessor and adds a few new upgrades. Available in red, white, and blue colors, these new wireless earphones now feature an ear hook similar to the Powerbeats Pro, while a Beats logo button enables you to take calls, skip songs, and adjust the volume of your music without touching your smartphone. The main upgrade comes in the form of Apple’s H1 chip, which can also be found in the 2019 AirPods, AirPods Pro, andBeats PowerBeats Pro true wireless earbuds. You can summon Siri with your voice alone, thanks to this H1. Plus, it boasts 12 to 15 hours of continuous playtime from a single charge, complete with a new ‘Fast Fuel’ feature that is good for 1.5 hours of playback from a five-minute charge.
