Nintendo Web Browsers Windows
Back in 2000, MediaBrowser released a series of Nintendo web browsers for Windows that most probably never knew existed. Put simply, they are specially branded versions of Internet Explorer with the intention to sell ads in various places within the browser.

The first two browsers that MediaBrowser made for Nintendo were for Pokémon Gold & Silver and Mario Tennis. CD-ROM copies of the former browser were made available as bonuses for anyone who pre-ordered a copy of Pokémon Gold & Silver. In 2001, other Nintendo-branded web browsers were released, including Paper Mario and Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. There was even a Nintendo Power-branded browser released near the end of its run. Unfortunately (or fortunately), the company filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and shut down their website as well as branded web browsers due to company debts of $2.49 million, or most likely, the result of the dot-com bubble bursting.
