H/t: Car Scoops
There’s nothing particularly special about the standard Porsche 944, that is unless…you’re talking about this bizarre six-wheeled pickup truck conversion being offered for $188,347 USD. Think of this as the Frankenstein of Porsche mods, as the front is sourced from a Porsche 944 S2, while the headlights were taken from a 924 Carrera GT, complete with six 993 Turbo 17-inch BBS alloy wheels.
What you won’t find on any other Porsche 944 is an 80.7-inch long rear bed finished in oak and a functional tailgate. There’s even an aluminum storage box out back that can be used to store the removable roof. Power comes from a naturally-aspirated 3.0L four-cylinder engine making 237 hp and 225 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. As for the extra axle used in this conversion, it was sourced from an Audi 200 Turbo.
