Before we get into Liberty Walk’s menacing LB-Silhoutte WORKS GT kit, did you know that the Huracán’s name is actually inspired by a Spanish fighting bull? That’s right, in the past, names from historical Spanish fighting bulls have been used in the naming scheme of most Lamborghini car models. Huracán was a real bull known for its courage that fought in 1879. With that said, this kit is available in FRP or all dry carbon.
Sony crowdfunded their Reon Pocket air conditioner last year, and just this week, it has gone on sale in Japan. Rather than a tabletop device, the company opted for one that can be tucked directly under a special shirt with a slot at the back of the neck. The wearer then uses a smartphone app to control the temperature, as the device is designed absorb or generate heat. Read more for two videos and additional information.
Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan is set to open Fall 2020, and new footage has surfaced showing that construction is almost complete. Simply put, it looks like a video game come to life, with two attractions confirmed so far, a Yoshi-themed ride and then an indoor Mario Kart dark ride of sorts. Forget hoverboards, the electric WALKCAR by Japan-based Cocoa Motors weighs just 6.4 pounds and is roughly the same size as a 13-inch laptop. It’s capable of hitting a top speedof 6.2 mph in normal mode, or up to 10 mph in sports. If riding around town in normal mode, you can expect up to 4.3 miles of range or 3.1 miles when in sports.

If you don’t follow theme park news, Super Nintendo World is basically a themed area currently being built at Universal Studios Japan, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal’s Epic Universe. It’s rumored that Nintendo is currently working on bringing Super Nintendo World to Universal Studios theme parks worldwide, starting with Osaka, Japan. Even in its current form, we can see that this will be just like a Mario-series video game brought to life, complete with Peach’s castle and Bowser’s castle. Ever wish you could taste all of the delicious food you see online? Well, that may become a reality sooner than later, thanks to a novel taste display proposed by Japanese researchers at Meiji University. This device uses ion electrophoresis spread across five gels containing electrolytes that supply controlled amounts of each of the five basic tastes. When an electric current flows through it, an arbitrary taste is applied to the user’s tongue, similar to how modern displays are able to produce multiple shades using three basic colors (RGB).
On PBS’s Spy in the Wild 2 – Episode Two: The North, a spy camera disguised as a macaque join a group of primates in the Jigokudani Monkey Park. These monkeys begin most days with a relaxing dip in Joshinetsu Kogen National Park in Japan’s Nagano prefecture. This primate-only onsen is world-famous as the preferred simian hot spring.
Anyone who has watched online videos for the past few years have probably seen at least one bottle flipping trick shot. If not, it basically involveds throwing a plastic bottle, typically partially full of liquid, into the air so that it rotates, in an attempt to land it upright on its base or on its cap. Located in Shinjuku, Japan, Nendo’s “Stairway House” consists of three levels and steps that appear to be an optical illusion. However, it was designed to cut through the entire building’s facade to expand further out to join the environs and the city. These interior steps are made of steel, while the outdoor area is made from concrete.
