Tesla’s Sentry mode is designed to protect against break-ins and theft by using the car’s external cameras to watch for potential threats. Recently, two men were captured keying a Model 3, and the footage (above) has gone viral online. One Model 3 owner didn’t want to take a chance so they replaced the original badges with ones from a Honda Civic Si, complete with the VTEC sticker. “Not only does the car feature a Honda badge in the center of the hatch, but there is a Civic badge on the left side of the rear and an Si badge on the right. Additionally, there are VTEC stickers on the lower portion of the front doors. A number of people assert that if the car was to be in an accident, first responders may see the Civic badges and presume that it is a gas-powered car and treat a potential fire in the same way they would any normal Honda,” reports Car Scoops.
