The Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles pit a Tesla Model S Plaid against a Ferrari Enzo and Maserati MC12 in a drag racing showdown for a charity fundraising event. Unplugged Performance installed a few tweaks on the Tesla to ready it for the match ups, and aesthetically, it features a carbon fiber wide body kit and 21-inch wheels.
No power mods were mentioned for the Tesla Model S Plaid, so we assume it still has the tri-motor setup making 1,020 hp and 1,050 lb-ft of torque, good for a 0-60 mph time of 1.9-seconds. We can’t count the Ferrari Enzo and its 6.0L V12 engine producing 660 hp and 484 lb-ft of torque out either, even though it takes 3.7-seconds to hit 60 mph. The Enzo-derived Maserati MC12 is definitely no slouch either, powered by a 6.0L V12 generating 621 hp and 481 lb-ft of torque.
