CarWow has pits the 2020 Toyota Supra against the BMW Z4, of which it shares the same platform, in a drag racing showdown. Aesthetically, both vehicles look very different, but under the hood, you’ll find BMW’s straight-six engine, which generates 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet sending power to the rear axle with an 8-speed ZF 8HP automatic torque converter transmission. Toyota’s Supra for the US market will be available in 3.0 and 3.0 Premium models, with the former sporting a 6.5-inch center infotainment center with Bluetooth and standard Alcantara trimmed seats, while the latter boasts a larger 8.8-inch touchscreen multimedia system, standard navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay, 12-speaker JBL stereo sound system, wireless phone charging, color head-up display and heated leather seats. Both models come equipped with collision warning, automatic high beams, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning and a feature that recognizes road signs.
