Once the display is fully expanded, the user is presented with viewing area three times as when retracted. The rolled-up smartphone has large bezel on both the top and bottom sections, along with a camera as well as a drive motor for the rolling mechanism. When the flexible screen is expanded, it’s also supported by the moving rails with the left and right sides fitting together in the slots when the phone is rolled up again.
