Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Foldable Phone

The Samsung Group is following in Apple’s footsteps by not making major announcements at tradeshows, but rather their own events. They recently posted an invite for a special “Galaxy Unpacked” event for the S10 on Twitter that would take place in San Francisco, London, as well as being livestreamed on February 20th. Rumored to be called the “Galaxy F”, this foldable smartphone could start at an eye-watering $1,770, a price that makes even the 5G-enabled S10 a more affordable alternative. Samsung’s Galaxy S10, S10 Plus, and S10 E will have at least one model sporting the Infinity-O display, better known as the punch-hole display where the bezels surrounding the screen are nearly non-existent, with a selfie camera floating up top. The company’s prototype foldable smartphone made its debut back in November of last year and sports a 7.3-inch “Infinity Flex Display,” but it’s yet to be seen if this will show up on the production model.

” Details of the S10 leaked early this year, hinting at a hole-punch display, tiny bezels and multiple cameras. The company has been lauding its foldable for a long time, and the S10 represents the first major redesign of the Galaxy S line since the S8 in 2017, so it’ll be a big day for Samsung,” reports Engadget.
