The first Ferrari EV is set to be unveiled in late 2025, but a heavily camouflaged prototype was allegedly spotted testing on public roads just outside the company’s Maranello factory.
What will set this EV apart from the Tesla Model S Plaid, Porsche Taycan Turbo S, etc., is a synthesized V8 sound synced with the drivetrain. In other words, flooring this vehicle should produce an audible growl, similar to a Ferrari Portofino or 488 GTB. The exterior most likely won’t be revealed until much later, as this prototype appears to use a modified Purosangue shell with faux tailpipes. One caveat: it’s expected to be priced from just over $500,000 USD.

I’m ashamed to admit it but I actually like the look of the PuroSangue in dark gray. I really expected I would oppose the idea of the car but seeing it on the move it kind of works for me in a strange way,” said one commenter.
